Origin
Human gastric juice
Research
Active preclinical
A synthetic 15-amino acid pentadecapeptide derived from human gastric juice. One of the most researched healing peptides with a two-decade evidence base spanning tendon, gut, nerve, muscle and bone models.
Modulates growth hormone receptors, promotes angiogenesis via VEGF, activates nitric oxide pathways, and upregulates EGF and FGF growth factors.
The body has a repair switch it flips after injury. BPC-157 research asks whether this compound can flip that switch harder and faster, helping tendons, gut lining, nerves and muscles heal more quickly. It was first discovered in stomach juice, which is one of the stranger origin stories in peptide science.
First isolated from human gastric juice at the University of Zagreb, Croatia in the early 1990s by Dr Predrag Sikiric. Over 300 independent preclinical studies followed across Croatia, the US and South Korea.
Men and women 25-60, athletes, anyone with gut issues, joint or tendon injuries, and post-surgery recovery.
Research-grade BPC-157 with full COA documentation is available exclusively through Elite Optimization Labs.
